Tara King
Tara King is a native Coloradoan and has long appreciated all that the Summit County area has to offer. As a long time second homeowner in the area, Tara relocated to Breckenridge after her youngest graduated from high school and is proud to be a member of the Ten Peaks Sotheby’s organization. Although Tara has been selling second homes to her clients in Summit County since 1999 ,when the time came to find a real estate company to join in the Summit County area, Sotheby’s was a perfect fit. The commitment to quality customer service and the level of professionalism through the Ten Peaks Sotheby’s office is a standout in the community. Tara began her real estate career in the mortgage lending arena in 1985. In 1992, Tara received her broker’s license and in turn launched her own real estate brokerage in 1997. Tara has been servicing the real estate needs of her clients for over 17 years in the Denver metro marketplace from Douglas to Boulder County.
As a member of any community, public and community service has long been a value of Tara’s. She has served on the boards of many charitable organizations such as Arapahoe House in Denver where in 2006 she was awarded the Herb Berger Community Service award. The Denver Center for the Performing Arts, Colorado Neurological Institute, the Teen with a Dream Foundation, the FASB Fitness Festival to promote healthy lifestyles in children among many others. She looks forward to continuing her service through the Summit County area in the future.
In 2008, Tara received her CRB designation to add to her education as a managing broker. The CRB designation (Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager) is one of the most respected and relevant designations offered in real estate business management. Not just anyone can display the CRB designation after his or her name. It is reserved for only the most dedicated conscientious and highly skilled. Tara also currently holds the GRI designation in addition to her CRB. As a realtor, she has received President’s awards and Roundtable awards but is truly rewarded as a Real Estate Agent when she finds the perfect home or investment for a client. Tara truly believes that there is nothing more satisfying than facilitating the goals, hopes and desires of the client as they secure their future home or investment because to her real estate is a passion.
